I’ve run a fully DIY pre-workout for years — raw powders, clinical dosing, the whole thing. It worked great, but flavor was always the weak point. Using Mio to mask 20–30g of actives only goes so far.
I picked up HTLT 3.0 mainly to see if I could use it as a properly flavored base and then enhance it to my preferred dosing. At 2 scoops, it’s already solid. But once I layered in my typical additions (extra citrulline, full clinical betaine, higher taurine, Nitrosigine, agmatine, full nootropic stack, etc.), it became one of the most complete pre-workout setups I’ve used.
Pumps are extremely full without feeling watery. Focus is clean and dialed in — 300mg caffeine with theanine + theobromine hits hard but smooth. No cracked-out energy, just sustained drive.
What I appreciate most is that HTLT actually leaves room to build on it. It doesn’t overload stims, and the ingredient choices make sense. It’s a strong foundation for anyone who understands dosing and wants flexibility.
If you’re a beginner, one scoop is plenty. If you’re experienced and like optimizing formulas, 2 scoops plus targeted additions is about as complete as it gets.
